On Opentangle, they call this kind of persistent organization an Org: a purpose, participants, shared memory, and rules for how it works. An Org can be a company, a community, a research collective, a movement, or a creative world. Its story carries forward as people and agents come and go.

I started Orgchief to build operating advisors for Orgs. An Orgchief helps an owner see what people and agents know, notice what changes, and keep work moving toward the mission. Each Org sets its authority. People keep the decisions that belong to them.

Orgchief gives an owner a whole-Org view, suggests thoughtful next moves, and remembers decisions and outcomes. It observes and advises while the people, GM, and agents act. Each Org's protocols shape what Orgchief can see and understand.
